No BuTTs is pleased to confirm that they will be exhibiting at the ALGA Conference 2010 to be held next week in Canberra.

The Australian Local Government Association (ALGA) 
is the national peak body for the local government sphere in Australia. ALGA is the national advocate
of local government, initiates policy development
on national issues and co-ordinates and implements liaison activities with the seven state and territory associations and the government of the Australian Capital Territory.

Key activities include representation of local government on national bodies and ministerial councils, providing submissions to government and parliamentary inquiries, raising the profile and concerns of local government at the national level and providing forums for local government to guide the development of national local government policies.

In the last year since their release, over 150 Councils, Shires, Government Departments and NGOs have installed Eco-Pole Wall/Post and Freestanding/Bollard Ashtrays - so we're really looking forward to unveiling our new Eco-Pole options."

As one of Australia’s three tiers of government, local government is represented by ALGA on the Council of Australian Governments (COAG). This peak government body brings together the Prime Minister, state premiers, territory chief ministers and the ALGA President to develop responses to issues of concern to all three spheres of government.

No BuTTs exhibit will be located at Stall #5, just inside the entrance and to the left at the National Conference Centre.
