Upper Hunter Shire Council in New South Wales is the latest Council to switch to No BuTTs 'Mini-Butts' Personal Ashtrays in preparation for this year's Clean Up Australia Day events.

Personal Ashtrays from No BuTTs will be the focus of the Council's anti-littering programs in March during the week comprising Business Clean Up Day (2nd March 2010) and Clean Up Australia Day (7th March 2010) .

Located at the northern end of the beautiful Hunter Valley - and known as the horse capital of Australia, Upper Hunter Shire Council has a vibrant rural community that has been able to develop its own unique character.

Aberdeen is the home of the Australian Blue Heeler and host to the annual "Aberdeen Highland Games"; Merriwa in the west being well known for its popular "Festival of the Fleeces"; Murrurundi with one of the largest sheep dog trials in the state and more recently the annual "King of the Ranges 

Stockman's Challenge", and Scone renowned for its thoroughbred horse industry, and the long running "Scone & Upper Hunter Horse Festival".

Well over 100 Govt Depts and NGOs have switched to No BuTTs 'Mini-Butts' Personal Ashtrays, including: Clean Up Australia, Butt Free Australia, Swan Hill Shire Council, Thredbo Ski Resort, Port Arthur Historical Site, University of Queensland.

Personal Ashtrays from No BuTTs are now being used by companies, Govt Depts, Organisations and millions of smokers around the world to reduce - and often eliminate their cigarette butt litter.
