Prahran Market has upgraded their wall & post ashtrays to No BuTTs Eco-Pole Wall & Post-mounted Ashtrays.
Located just off Chapel Street in Melbourne's trendy Prahran, Prahran Market is the oldest continuously running Market in Australia and is known as "the food lovers market" because of the quality and range of their food.
Prahran Market Operations Manager Bill McMaster confirmed their order for 13 Eco-Pole Ashtrays which have been mounted on walls or posts at all entrances and designated smoking zones within the iconic complex.
"We've had some wall ashtrays at various locations for years but they were starting to show their age, and their old style actually caused as many problems as they solved." said Bill. "Ashtrays with an open top or large entry point unfortunately attract litter and often quickly get clogged with papers and other rubbish which renders them unusable as ashtrays, which is why they were there in the first place."
"An even greater concern for us was that when you mix cigarette butts with paper waste and rubbish you often get smouldering and even fires - and that is obviously something we want to avoid at all costs."
"Eco-Pole Ashtrays are a brilliant and modern design that not only look very stylish, but their angled tops and butts-only entry points eliminate those problems completely. Additionally, the same key system for all Eco-Pole Ashtrays mean that our maintenence staff no longer have to sort through a bunch of keys to find the right key for that particular ashtray."
"Another great feature of the Eco-Poles is that they have a simple one-step emptying process that allows our staff to empty them in around five seconds each and with no disassembly at all required, which is a huge benefit over the older ashtray we've had and also makes life much easier for our maintenance personnel."
"Prahran Market is known as the "Food Lover's Market" and for good reason too. I've been shopping at Prahran Market for decades so we're delighted that Management has chosen No BuTTs Eco-Pole Ashtrays to upgrade their ashtray
infrastructure." said No BuTTs Managing Director Jack Jacobson. "In fact the last time we were there someone had to throw a bucket of water over one of their old style ashtrays that was smoking like a chimney. That problem simply can't happen with Eco-Poles which is another reason why Eco-Pole Ashtrays are now the best selling wall and post mounted ashtrays in Australia - by far."
"When ashtrays are a hassle to empty or are regularly clogged with trash or smouldering or tend to catch fire, that makes life a lot more difficult for maintenance staff and service personnel - and it doesn't help the customers either."
"We actually get love-letters and emails from our clients telling us that their Eco-Pole Ashtrays have completely eliminated any problems and turned the 5 minute pain-in-the-neck emptying process that they previously had to endure with their old ashtrays into an easy 5-second process that allows their maintenance staff to quickly move on to other duties."
