Würth Australia has gone Smoke-Free the right way at their new HQ in Melbourne with the installation of No BuTTs Eco-Pole Wall & Post Ashtrays at two Designated Smoking Zones on the edge of the property.
"When we decided to make our new premises Smoke-Free we had a good look at the various Post-mounted Ashtrays available, and No BuTTs Eco-Pole Ashtrays stood out by a country mile." said Facilities Manager for Würth Australia, Les Underwood. "Not only were they the best looking ashtrays but they were considerably cheaper than other products that offered no where near the features and intelligent design of the Eco-Poles."
"Apart from the issue of aesthetics, which is obviously important for our new offices, we were all very impressed with the Eco-Pole Ashtray emptying system which is a one-step process and take around 5 seconds with no disassembly whatsoever required."

"When you also add other benefits Eco-Pole Ashtrays have like butts-only entry points that prevent paper waste or sharps being placed into the unit and a same key system that makes life for our maintenance staff even easier, No BuTTs Eco-Poles were the obvious choice."
"There's two ways for premises to go Smoke-Free. The right way and the wrong way." said No BuTTs Managing Director, Jack Jacobson. "Like over 50 organisations a week, Würth Australia are going Smoke-Free the responsible way by providing Designated Smoking Zones away from the building with Wall or Post-mounted Ashtrays for their employees and visitors that smoke."
"The alternative is to simply ban smoking without providing ashtray infrastructure but all that does is make that organisation's smokers cigarette butt litter someone elses problem as smokers are forced to go 'somewhere else' to smoke - and that's outrageously irresponsible from an environmental and social perspective."
"It can also be extremely damaging to the corporate profile and public image of the offending organisation because people do notice and it's the company's reputation that suffers."
"Most companies would never even contemplate just dumping their trash and waste outside their neighbours, or into the gutter outside their premises but that's exactly what organisations that go Smoke-Free without providing ashtrays are doing."
"Würth Australia are market leaders in their industry and their responsible approach to their own employees cigarette butt litter is a very good example for all other organisations to follow."
